About
In 1999, Dyllinaire (Dylan) co founded Kobrakahn Productions and deejayed 3 years of successful dance parties for the company, along with handling most of their advertising. After moving to Salt Lake City and throwing dances for the University of Utah, he decided to work freelance and perfect his skills as a battle and hip hop DJ. In 2002 the practice paid off as he was asked to be one of the deejays for the SLC Winter Olympics. Since then he has performed in front of tens of thousands of fans.
While attending the University of Utah, Dylan met up with local favorites The Flowbots. The band’s explosive live performance created a strong buzz and brought them the title of “Best New Band in Salt Lake City”. (SLWeekly August 28, 2003 Issue)
Dylan was then recruited to Joyride Productions, which placed him as the DJ for BYU’s annual Spring Fling, drawing in literally thousands of excited students.
His practice as a battle DJ has paid off with awards like second place at the Streetcar Odyssey battle in Logan, the Guitar Center Regionals, and the Salt Lake Community College Battle. Dylan recently won the First Annual Fat Cats DJ Battle and was sent on an all expense paid trip to LA to watch the 2004 USA DMC Championships.
Dyllionaire has again teamed up with Flowbots front man, Pony Boi, to make some new music under the face melting moniker, The Last of the Rockmen.
With all of these strong experiences, Dylan has the capabilities to pack any venue and once the party people hear his unique deejay skills they become hooked and always come back for more.
